Mental health refers to a person's emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It involves the individual's ability to manage stress, relate to others, make decisions, and cope with the challenges of life. Mental health is a dynamic aspect of overall health that affects thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It encompasses a spectrum of conditions ranging from optimal mental well-being to mental illnesses.
What is Mental Health?
Good mental health is crucial for resilience, positive relationships, and optimal functioning in daily life. It enhances emotional well-being, supports effective coping with stress, and contributes to productivity and life satisfaction. Prioritizing mental health fosters a balanced and fulfilling life, impacting both individual well-being and societal dynamics positively.
What is the importance of good mental health
The NDIS provides support to help with the day-to-day impact caused by psychosocial disability, the disability that may arise from a mental health condition. The NDIS can provide funding to purchase supports aimed at increasing independence, inclusion, and social and economic participation.
